The Process of Making a Chair

This chair makes reference to ‘assemble yourself’ chairs such at Tord Boontja’s Rough and ready chair, as well as Enzo Mari and his famous Autoprogettazione, in combination with traditional cabinet making techniques like mortise and tenon joints.

The chairs structure is designed with stability in mind. The shape of the ‘finished’ right hand side of the chair is determined by the trial and error results of left hand side.
